FAQs

What should I do if the water flow in the water filter jug is slow?

Slow water flow is a common problem in water filter jugs and may be caused by a variety of reasons. Here are some possible solutions:

1) Clean the filter element: The filter element may accumulate impurities due to long-term use, causing the water flow to slow down. Usually, rinsing the surface of the filter element with clean water can remove particles and dirt.

2) Replace the filter element: The life of the filter element is limited. If used for too long, the filter may become clogged. It is recommended to replace the filter element regularly to ensure smooth water flow.

3) Check the kettle body and connecting parts: Make sure that the kettle body and connecting parts of the water filter jug are not damaged or blocked. Check whether the sealing ring is intact and make sure the connecting parts are normal.

What should I do if there is a peculiar smell in the water filter jug body?

The peculiar smell in the water filter jug kettle may be due to mold that has not been used for a long time or there is residual moisture in the kettle. Here are some ways to solve your odor problem:

1) Regular cleaning: Regular cleaning of the water filter jug is an effective way to prevent odor. Use a mild detergent or vinegar to help remove odors.

2) Dry thoroughly: Make sure to dry all parts of the water filter jug thoroughly after cleaning. Avoid storing water in the kettle for long periods of time, especially in hot and humid environments.

3) Use baking soda: If the odor is stubborn, you can try using baking soda. When cleaning the water filter jug, wipe the inside of the water filter jug with a solution of water and baking soda.

4) Sun exposure: Exposure to sunlight helps sterilize and remove odors. Put the cleaned water filter jug in a sunny place to dry to help remove odor.

What should I do if the water filter jug leaks?

Water filter jug leakage may be caused by loose sealing, damage to the jug body, or incorrect installation of the filter element. Here are some ways to fix a leaking water filter pitcher:

1) Check the sealing ring: Make sure the sealing ring of the water filter jug is intact. If the sealing ring is damaged or aged, water leakage may occur.

2) Check the kettle body and connecting parts: Check whether the kettle body and connecting parts of the water filter jug are cracked or damaged. A damaged kettle body may cause water leakage. If problems are found, it is recommended to replace the damaged parts.

3) Confirm that the filter element is installed correctly: Make sure that the filter element is installed correctly and in an accurate position. Improper installation of the filter element may cause water to leak around the filter element.

4) Avoid overfilling with water: Do not overfill with water to avoid exceeding the maximum designed capacity of the water filter jug, causing overflow and water leakage.
